Amazingly, despite the fact that Greg Dolan started in 2008, this is only the second time he has been in charge of a Fev match.

The Rugby League's selection of referees for Fev matches continues to be somewhat bizarre. After appointing one of their most inexperienced referees to take charge of the match between Fev and Toronto on Good Friday, they have now selected a referee who is based in the Dewsbury area. It puts huge strain on a referee to be seen to be unbiased.
