100 Appearances for Fev:A Tribute to John Davies
Every now and then
a player comes along that is perceived as a real hero by the Fev fans.
Sometimes that is because they are simply brilliant players.
But often Fev fans
will really take to their hearts a player who gives 100% to the Fev cause. And
there has been no player who demonstrates that commitment in everything he does
more than John Davies. If he tackles he gives everything into that tackle. If
he runs the ball up he gives his all trying to bust the defensive line. And with
that he has great skills too.
He passes
beautifully, off-loads well and he can also kick. Neat little effective
grubbers and he also has a 100% career record for goal-kicking, albeit that comes
in the form of 2 out of 2, taking over the goal-kicking when Kyran Johnson was
having an off-day with the boot against Swinton in 2017.
To sum it up, John
Davies is a player that is loved by all Fev fans and we wish him many
congratulations on his 100th appearance for us and look forward to the next
100.
