T'Other Side: London Broncos

FIRST TEAM SQUAD

LAST TIME OUT

THIS SEASON'S MATCHES

Head Coach: Mike Eccles

After Broncos had only taken 3 points from their first twelve matches, Jermaine Coleman left his position as their head coach. Mike Eccles took over in a caretaker capacity on May 24th after the Broncos had only taken 3 points from their first twelve Championship matches.

It was a very unusual appointment. He had been at the club as Head of Performance since 2012, a role he had previously held at Salford.

He has never played Rugby League professionally. Hailing from Leigh he had been at the Wigan Athletic soccer academy as a teenager.

Captain: Lewis Bienek

Lewis Bienek was born in Sidcup which is in the London Borough of Bexley and is close to the Kent border.

His career began with the Broncos in 2016. After two years he was signed by Hull FC from where he went out on several loan spells including a return to the Broncos. In 2021 he joineed Castleford and then returned to the Broncos this year.

He primarily plays at prop with occasional appearances at loose forward
