This is the first 'official' match we have had this referee this season although he did take charge of our pre-season game against Leeds Rhinos.
Jack Smith started refereeing professional matches in 2015 and quickly became a full-time official taking charge of Super League games. However, he decided he wanted to spend more time with his family and running his business so he went back to part-time and mostly does Championship games now.
